In cooperation with three other vocational schools in Hildesheim and other partners from universities and enterprises we have founded a robot academy. The academy is a research and training center for the digital and collaborative world of Industry 4.0. At the academy students can carry out real production processes with robotic cooperation. The production process is based on 3D printing, and CNC-technologies. Produced parts can be burred, lacquered, sorted and stored by COBOTS.
In addition our school houses a MakeSpace in which students can experiment, construct or program. Here STEM subjects can be taught student-oriented and holistic.
